Senior UX Researcher

About

DESIGNER, WRITER, BAKER, STORYTELLER.

Karina Campos is a user researcher and strategist passionate about telling a good story and designing experiences that inspire people to create, connect with others and empower themselves. She graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Syracuse University with a degree in Industrial & Interaction Design and a Minor in Psychology.

I have worked in the B2B and B2C spaces at CLEAR Secure and IBM.

I have built my skills through a variety of experiences and industries ranging from designing and executing a nine month billboard series in Syracuse, New York to being a user researcher for the Landmark Theatre, a 1920’s historic building in Upstate New York.

My knowledge of psychology has helped me understand people, their thought process and how to decode what people say (want) versus what they mean (need).

Besides design, I will probably be doing one (or multiple) of the following things, curling up to a good book, hiking, cooking or baking up a storm in the kitchen (probably dancing along to some latin music), yoga, traveling, or trying out a new restaurant or coffee shop.
